I have worked on various projects on the open source Blender 3D modelling software. This software has made my skills improve and allow me to create what ever my heart desires.
Some examples:
This project has been in the works for a very long time, first starting in 2021. I was interested in the current armoured vehicles being used by the Police
Service Northern Ireland, this one in particular is called the Pangolin. I was enticed by its seemingly unique design and capabalities. This interest fueled
me to make a version of my own, digitally. The model is not by far finished, I like to update it every once and a while when new images appear for better
references, so although it looks finished, this is only one of many.
Not very long after starting the Pangolin project. I learned of two more vehicles of similar structure and purpose. I used my gained knowledge
from the Pangolin project in order to plan, model, texture and implement the Penman and Tangi projects into drivable assests within Grand Theft Auto 5.
Although it is unorthadox. I do tend to make my vehicle models into drivable vehicles within GTA 5. This allows me to have a scaled reference for the
size of the vehicle and makes me adapt to game engine limitations and texturing requirements - getting used to materials and cofiguration as such.
